Albert Ellis. Died 31 May 1916
Albert was born on 17th August 1888 in Wokingham, the son of Reuben and Mary Ann. They lived at 4 Havelock Place, Wokingham.
Albert served in the Royal Navy and by 1916 he was a Stoker 1st class on the battle cruiser HMS Queen Mary. This ship was engaged in the Battle of Jutland and Albert together with 1267 of his comrades died on 31st May 1916. There were only 8 survivors .

By the time Albert was killed, his father had already died and his mother re-married a Richard Butler.
